Wow, looks good.
But wonder how much is the cost?
It may not be feasible in our humid country as the bedding and mattress are hidden in the closet without ventilation.

Also the bed may not provide good support as the base may not be as stable as a normal bed.

me too. Not dependent on electricity, only pulley system.

This will be the next innovation in Singapore MM.
one of the MM developers will develop this concept (ready-built) into a 400sqft MM and sell at $1600psf for OCR, $3000psf for CCR MM.

hydraulics fail got electricity, also cannot sleep. this concept isn't new. the japanese had this raising and lowering of the platform that separates the living and bedroom a couple of years ago.
