speak to ur friendly banker... esp if u have existing loan with them. they may make exception esp for new launch or buc (local banks). of course dont borrow 100k. perhaps min 300k.

i looking at resale in that area..anyway why they dont loan? alot of property in that area is freehold

it used to be due to the seedy nature of the area... bank worried next time if need to force sell will have challenges finding buyer. with increasing number of developments coming up and illegal vice being clamped down with regular raids, perhaps banks may have soften their stance. who knows.

Also now you can on-sell to unsuspecting foreigners...since more of them are coming in.
