Interesting...

Sounds too good to be true though... like one of those Oilpods or Sunshine scams...

Just to highlight a few points

Now German interbank rate is negative
and for properties in Germany, there is a very high tendency that the tenants dun pay rent as the owners need to take almost 12 months to get rid of them.

My German neighbour rather has his properties in Germany vacant

Gold has appreciated 10% per year since 1997 ... what do u think is the chance you can get 12% return per year almost risk free :banghead:

So simply said it's a 'scam' rather than an investment scheme...

How abt Developmental Land by Walton International?
I keep getting calls/emails on that.

What's their business model? Scam or scheme?

Walton is in landbanking... theoretically they buy a big plot of land overseas in a yet to be developed area, they then carve it out in units to sell to investors at a supposedly low price. When development reaches the area, the prices are expected to shoot up and investors sell off in what is purported to be incredible returns...

I have yet to hear any person I know personally that made money from this... please do your due diligence

Thanks - been reading on other forums abt this topic.
Scam-ish but built on a biz platform ...so it's legal....
Sigh ...no free lunch...

Walton : I attended before. They claimed they had sold many plots, but who knows? Even in the seminar, there were people said they made so much, so much from it,,,I think, it is most likely insiders' job

Attended some of the seminars including walton, talked to a few people, it is a long term (Ie, 5-10 years) investment.

but i attended a few others. by far one of the companies that I have invested with a few years back has consistently yield results. Of course what I mean is diversification.
