After reading above messages, I still no clue where exactly the NS12 will be located. Near CR or 8C?
The flat land just beside the road, can view from MRT.

My guess only.
Look at Masterplan. It has to be in between Sembawang and Yishun MRT. Logically, should be at mid point of the two as anywhere else is too short a distance to the other.
Of the two plots of subject to detailed planning, the one between the new road and the 8 Court Yard is more likely. The flat piece of land has been there for the longest time. Why was it done so nicely and flat when they could leave it as a forest? It was done almost at the same time when the line is up. Just my guess as we are making speculative guesses here. If not, it would be stated as a fact.

My fren told me yesterday he saw a group of peoples visit longkang there take photo, study that area and check sheet record, etc. I think NS 12 coming soon, appreciate for yishun MP hard work, hope MRT station can complete asap.
NS12 tender closed on 27-3, No of tenderers participate=10, how long lta need to decide? 2month/ 3 month / 6 month? If 6month, project work 1.5year, thy that can complete within 2 yr.

Actual location still dunno, hope beside longkang just nice, not far away from Yishun MRT and not too near to Sembawang MRT, at least can benefit for surrounding condo and landed near by and HDB along yishun ave 7 and Yishun St 22, New Bto, industrial area ,etc..:) :cheers6:

those were the works of the longkang that running in parallel with the Simpang Kiri longkang.. and also the junction work of CL... but all already done..
too bad google map too long never update singapore map already.. many landscape already changed~ :doh:

for these new BTOs, do you notice the map direct you to canberra lane directly? meaning MRT is around there!!

Busy because of SMRT finds rail crack on North-South line stretch, slows down trains.
Disruption to train services on the North-South line caused crowding at Sembawang station.

Good that the 3 storey commercial blk is @ Eastbrook instead of Eastwave.

The tender amount put in by bidders have been updated only recently. I think this contract will be awarded soon. Longest period for any LTA tender to be awarded after closing was 4.5 to 5 months. This one 3.5 months liao. :D

The tender is for "consultancy" only. How long would it be for the actual station to be built after this tender?
SINGAPORE — The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded the S$285 million contract to Samsung C&T Corporation to expand Caldecott station into an interchange.
Construction of the station and tunnels will being next month and when completed in 2020, Caldecott station will connect the future Thomson Line with the Circle Line.
It currently takes about 40 minutes to get from Woodlands to Caldecott, taking the North-South Line and transfer to the Circle Line at Bishan said the LTA in a statement today (July 25).
However, with the new interchange, commuters will have a direct route, reducing travel time to 25 minutes.
LTA has also awarded a S$421-million contract to Shanghai Tunnel Engineering for the construction and completion of Thomson Line tunnels in Woodlands.
The contract includes tunnels linking Woodlands station to the Mandai depot.
Construction of these tunnels will start this August and is targeted for completion in 2019. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
