Karolos Papoulias, the Greek president, warned party leaders that their continued failure to agree was risking “fatal consequences”. Citing a secret government document, he said Greeks were already pulling £80 million a day out of the country’s banks. Almost €1 billion (£795 million) has been withdrawn since the last elections on May 6.
2H 2012 doesn't look very good for our economy. Will our sovereign fund manager goes to the rescue again by buying up other countries' bonds or banks or ???
Something big is brewing... :scared-3:

If you are Greek and know there's a higher and higher chance of them leaving euro zone, what will you do if you have money in Greek banks? What will happen to your deposits if the country goes back to their drachmas? Of course take the money out and put it somewhere safe, even cash is safer. There will be no more Greek banks at the end of this.:(

Not worth ... this is more like it, the diamond blue sea, the white houses dotted with crosses ... a perfect harmony of human settlement with its environment

No wonder the Greeks don't want to work hard.

The richer Greeks are already buying up properties in England. A lot of them using the Euro of course.
I think it has not reached its climax yet.
external shock coming. BUT do not forget US headline inflation falling to low 2.x%. Inflation targetting. Soon Fed will print $$

Global markets to rally if Greece exits Eurozone: Marc Faber
http://profit.ndtv.com/video/Global-markets-to-rally-if-Greece-exits-Eurozone-Marc-Faber/232499
Marc Faber, Editor and Publisher of 'The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report', shares his views on how the global markets are going to perform ahead. "Markets are down because of the economic slowdown in China; they will rally if Greece exits the Eurozone," he said. As far as India's equity market is concerned, he said that the Sensex may bottom-out at the 12000-15000 level. "Rupee seems to be oversold in the near term," he added.

btw: i'm going to buy some champagne and do some popping when grexit... ;) :cheers4:
I also believe that the world will be happier if Greece exit the Euro.
This has been the more certain uncertainty we had for the past many years!
As money flow out of Europe, where will it go ?
How will the rich in these places deploy their capital ?
Singapore Properties seem to be one of the very good choices.

Get your drachmas ready :))
It will be better for all if Greece leave the euro
What I don't understand is why the Greeks wants to leave the euro zone. Do they think they will have less pain when the billions from Brussels stop flowing when they leave? They want the money but not the pain? How can?
They have been fed on easy money for ages - not easy to wash off that mentality. And not everyone is into finance and balance sheets etc, to them it's wasn't their fault so why are they being punished.

It's time the Greeks put a Trojan Horse in Germany and steal away their money and technology:
