I was reflecting on the prices of ECs now and the previous 1997 peak.

If you go to the above link, you will find that when ECs was introduced during the previous 1997 boom, the average selling price was 400psf.

Now a smelly smelly yishun EC is going to be priced at $700 psf. Is our housing price more than 50% 1997 peak or the "discount" given by ECs smaller these days.

During late 90s how much was ppr for ECs? Now smelly smelly there about $300ppr for land cost.
