The address is an issue though. The stigma of having Geylang in the name is difficult to overlook. No matter how accessible it is.

For people who prefers tarma services :D

But does anyone know the psf for this development? If low it's worth a punt. Just next to the redevelopment of Paya Lebar, near the MRT and it's FH. Can always hold on to it until further developments in the area.

If i'm the government, prior to selling the land to the developers, i'll rename the last 6 lorongs to something else. Psf goes up by 300 instantly.

Nowadays major banks are more willing to finance the Geylang ppty. Depending on the personal portfolio, some bank can finance up to 70-80% if you do not have any outstanding housing loan.

Normally there will be bankers around at the showflat if the timing is right, so you will know which bank will finance this project. Developers will try to negotiate with the banks otherwise their ppty cannot be sold out.

ya lor...heard the developer themselves books 10+ units for their family and friends....wtf.....anyway it's very odd layout and definitely for rental la...for me i looking for personal stay so the MMs are just not good enough for 'quality of life'....the good deal is 2min paya lebar mrt at doorstep and all the new shopping malls and hotels in the near future....:banghead:

d'weave's location in lor 39 is not spared from the vices also.
there are 2 viet discos directly opposite lor 39,many undesirable people hanging around till 2 - 3am everynight. the 2 discos are packed almost everynight with many vietnamese chix soliciting for business..

what really astound me is the price for a #07 441sq ft unit asking for 685k at d'weave..thats 1553psf :scared-1: :scared-1: for GEYLANG..

It will not change, unless the government's policy changes. In fact, to cater for the increasing number of foreign workers (to construct the new MRT, expressways, BTOs and condos), the business must go up.

D’Weave at Geylang almost sold out in just an hour during Nov 11 launch

Only two out of the 71 units of the “mickey mouse” apartment are left unsold to-date, said property agents at Huttons Real Estate Group.
Market watchers said that the major attraction of the property located at the so-called “red district” is its proximity to Paya Lebar MRT station which only takes commuters two-minute walk to get there.
D’Weave, developed by Teambuild Properties , according to market watchers though is more ideal for investment as sizes of units are relatively small.
The smallest unit with one bedroom is 398 sft. While sizes for 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units only range from 441 – 581 and 893-1410 sft.
The average price per unit is around P1,200 psf. It is expected to receive TOP mid 2015.
