Negative. The water tank is housed in one of the 4 units on every top floor. In short, there are only 3 residential units on the top floors of every block instead of 4. Facet design, yes.

All structural buildings have to conform with BCA's guidelines which im sure your (& mine) concerns' are taken care of (hopefully). And also the waterproofing of the rooftop is properly done. Cross our fingers....

Just went recently(before this haze) to the park diagonally across eight courtyards. Find this Yishun neighborhood park is unlike other neighborhood park as it is on higher ground with various types of trees, playground, toilet facilities. Even spotted some parrots and a lot of what seems cottons on the floor. Many people there jogging, relaxing and kids playing in playground. Great communal place indeed. We need more of such wonderful communal place with nice trees of various sorts. Hope NPark keeps this wonderful park intact for a long long time :2cents:

Ya. Saw in the forum also. Let see CR feedback, since they had granted TOP recently. If they are not affected, I believe we will be alright.
My worries is project that is still in building process, I.e. 1 Canberra. Just opposite of us. Hope they do good housekeeping & maintain their site clean or else we will be the ones will get affected.

The Chinese community forum reported the cheapest compact 3 bedders (ard 900sf, forgot exact size), facing track and about the same high of the track are selling ard $1250 psf to them is cheap.. it seem to me that many prc buying into this development.. Thing surprise me is: they only looked at psf, noise, west sun, views doesn't concern them at all! yup. one remark they have: Not for ppl staying but to invest/rental.. so invest/rental is the key.
back to Yishun hub. i think it will not be as hot as J Gateway if the pricing matched to J Gateway as there are much more hype in Jurong area.

reservoir has relatively calm water flow whereas long kang river following the sea tide.. Long Kang's environment not suitable for re-production of midget. :2cents:

To clear your doubts, please find HDB control plan issued. Measurement has also been given.

I think the assumptions are abit too hypothetical. Statistically, although there are about 2000 households in that area BUT :
1) Not all households have cars
2) Even though all have cars, its still as rare as the blue moon that everyone will ply that road at the same time.

If the road will be expanded towards EC side, it would be much better for 8cy, especially for the units along the canberra drive side.
From attached plan, it should be towards EC side. Hope for the best. Anyway 8CY entrance is quite near to main rd so easier to get out haha;)

Spore gahment very good and rich, they willing to spend money for people, take care of people, build the quality house for people. You see HDB / BTO pre -cast concrete wall, window frame all very thick and smooth fine finishing quality, Landscape tip top n spaces, quality MSCP, children play ground, BBQ area, etc.
Once receive the complain from residence , HDB MI attend immediately. Compared with other Country, Gahment last, Private No.1, In Spore Gahment build house No.1 , Private No.2 (because tender high price land and they still need to make profit),
Dun compare with HDB, BTO, DBSS, Compared among Suburban condo more appropriate..

We have already rcvd letters from the developer that TOP is estimated between May to June 14 but subject to changes.
although 8 Cy join developer (Fraser and Far East) . Seems like this project manage by Fraser, can tel from out door lanscaping. Far east alway have better 5 star lanscaping, Sign plate, fencing, lighting, i obserserved from many far east development. Fraser so so only, example Caspian by fraser and another 2 condo beside 8 Cy.
Hope Far east can give some advise on 8 Courtyard landscaping, design some waterfall at main enterance same as Lakeshore Condo main enterance at Jw.

the new NS12 station is near yishun sapphire.
Have tried and realise it took me about 5-6 min to walk there from eight courtyard nearest side gate.

Residents of Eight Courtyards condominium gathered for a special home blessing on Saturday morning, thanks to the Thiagarajen family. The family had arranged for a cow and calf to be brought to bless their new home on the 14th storey. Curious neighbours came by to witness the rare spectacle and took photographs of the cows walking through the entire apartment.
