Looking around these areas for housing. Bigger apartments or houses preferred (freehold). Any recommendations as a value for money buy ?

Noticed that several projects have been torn down and being rebuit. Anyone know what these will become ?

This area's logistics is not so good lah.

Picture yourself going to town from here. you will have to change 3 lanes of traffic and u turn back to dunearn rd. Alternative is turn left on stevens road. Either way, a huge traffic jam awaits you most waking hours of the day.

I lived here for a while, this place is a gem! It has three exit/entry points. One to Bkt Timah where you have to do a uturn into Dunearn, or the better option left onto Stevens and go thru Orchard. There's very little traffic in the mornings thru Orchard, so driving is smooth into town.

Big plus is the Stevens MRT coming up, that explains why no one wants to sell, they are holding on for this.

If I was an agent, selling this place is a no brainer!

My comments:
1) Cliften - Small project, no full facilities, deep inside Ewe Boon Road, once Cyan TOP, difficult to get out, huge traffic jam in morning. Difficult to get out of Ewe Boon Road onto Bukit Timah Road to do a U-turn to Dunern Road. Can go further to Steven Road junction, that place traffic even worst!
Steven Road is famous for traffic jam during morning and evening peak hours.

2) Bellerive: Small project, cannot make it also.

3) Palm Spring: Big enough project to have full facilities, but maintenance quite bad. Got some insider stories, but can't tell openly. Bad!

4) Proximo: Where is that? Not sure.
